Retire-At-Home Services, Bruce-Grey – Personalized Professional Care!
Kylie Pike, CPCA
Owner, Executive Director
For Kylie Pike, growing up on the shores of Lake Huron in Kincardine instilled a love and respect for the Bruce-Grey County area that continues to grow each day. The honest, small town persona that characterizes this rural area is part of her respectful and compassionate nature. She and her fiancé call the small village of Ripley their home & look forward to raising a family of their own someday, continuing to build strong relationships and bonds within the community & surrounding areas.
She graduated from University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and her passion for the health field and helping others is evident in all she does. A caring, dedicated and hard worker, Kylie enjoys the mutual benefits of volunteering, membership & involvement with a variety of community organizations. She is on the Board of Directors with the Home and Community Support Services of Grey Bruce and serves on a couple of advisory committees dealing with the needs and wants of seniors in our area. Years of experience in the health field, in both the non-profit and private sector, has given her a strong base of experience and knowledge.
She has first-hand knowledge of having to provide care for loved ones and the challenges often encountered. Although we are graced to have publicly funded healthcare, Kylie has seen the difficulties & the emotional & physical toll these difficulties place on everyone involved. The support, information & service needs are increasing and Kylie has decided to help address those increasing needs in the rural area by providing options & comprehensive services for both individuals in need and their families through Retire at Home.
Kylie has often been known put others needs before her own. In 2002 she was decorated with the Medal of Bravery from the Governor General for risking her own life to save the lives of two children from a burning apartment building. Rural populations are known for developing deep roots within their communities and Kylie’s devotion to helping others maintain their independence and dignity is noticeable.
Providing choices for comprehensive, personalized service to support a holistic and healthy lifestyle is essential to the personal service field. It is the philosophy of Retire At Home to provide quality care, addressing both the emotional and the physical health of an individual that attracted Kylie to the Retire-At-Home team. The compassionate professional team of Retire-At -Home upholds the highest standard of excellence – improving clients’ quality of life by respecting each person’s dignity and independence and Kylie is looking forward to a challenging & fulfilling career in the field of Home Care.
